J.T. Daugherty Events & Catering Wins Taste of St. Mary's Food Service Awards

Congratulations to the J.T. Daugherty Events, Catering, Wedding and Conference Center, of Lexington Park, MD, for their awards at this past weekend's "Taste of St. Mary's County" outdoor food festival at Leonardtown Square!

The J.T. Daugherty Southern Maryland catering crew won "Best Entrée" and the overall "People’s Choice Award", competing against numerous other restaurants and caterers on Sunday.

The year’s event was attend by the largest crowd ever, estimated at 1200 people.

Duagherty Events and Wedding Center, by Cherry Cove Southern Maryland Hotels, Events and Property Management, provides the area's only full-service event center and wedding venue with award-winning onsite catering, accommodations, A/V and many other services for weddings, conferences, meetings, association gatherings, family and business parties and other events.

Labor Day Memories

Summer's winding to a close - as are the fun and memories from a superb Labor Day weekend in Southern Maryland...though there's still plenty of eels to catch, the spot are biting hard, and the crabbies are still populating our pots...now looking forward to the upcoming St. Mary’s County Oyster Festival & US National Oyster Shucking Championship Contest (10/17-18, Leonardtown, MD).
